We don't get our dog fully groomed, but our lab spends the bulk of her time running around on grass. Her long black nails are very thick and hard and she hated having them trimmed or dremelled elsewhere. For the same price, La Paws actually cuts them and then smooths all the edges - very important with young children at our house. Best part is that our dog still likes to go in for it! Their techs truly like animals, and she can tell.

We have used La Pawz 4 times now. Each time they have done a great job and the puppies seem to be really happy. We have two Maltese and keep their hair short especially in the summer. We have even done some hair dye for the girl dog and it turned out really good! I would recommend these guys to anyone.
